The ministry and life of William Marrion Branham is arguably one of the most unique and unusual ministries of our time. Although his life and ministry were often misunderstood, no one could deny the supernatural manifestations of the Spirit of the Lord that vindicated his ministry thus fulfilling many of the scriptural prophecies that were predicted for our day.
We at The Original Word Fellowship are blessed to have believed and received this Prophet messenger as the messenger promised to us in Malachi 4:5-6, St. Luke 17:30 and Revelation 10:7 This message is still very much alive worldwide and is producing the same fruits of the original Apostolic Church in the Book of Acts.
Baptising in the Ohio River 1933
On June 11, 1933 while William Branham was baptizing a convert in the Ohio River a Pillar of Fire appeared above him and a voice spoke from the light saying “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Jesus Christ, so are you sent to forerun His second coming. The appearance of this supernatural light was reported in the June 12, 1933 edition of the Jeffersonville Evening News captioned: “Mysterious Star appears over minister while baptizing.”
Supernatural light appears over Prophet in 1956
The children of Israel witnessed the Pillar of Fire leading Moses, and the people of this modern day have witnessed that same Pillar of Fire leading another prophet. This image was taken long before computers or digital cameras, and could not be explained by any methods known to science, other than there was an actual Light above the head of William Branham. Today that same photograph can be seen in the United States Library Of Congress, in the nation’s capital, Washington DC.
